My tank is crashing WHY!!!!! It started on Monday now on Thursday I have lost 6 millis, 1 war coral, a red dragon acro, and 2 other unknown acros, a meteor shower and a jingle bells, a superman digi and a purple planet. I have tested my water everyday since Monday all seems fine yet in a matter of 4 days all those corals have turned white. My skimmer went from a dark green skim to a dark yellow skim this week. I guess it is time to do the new aquascape my wife wants as she does not like the formation of my current rocks.

RTN Happens to many of us and the underlying cause is still debated. It will subside. It is just hard going thru it and they crash so fast. Do some reading on RTN.

OMG- are you serious? Yes unknown RTN can happen to ONE, maybe another coral, but 14 corals at once?? Come on man!!!!! YOU NEED TO DO SOME READING!!!!

Rage- we need more info. parameters, WC schedule, dosing info, temperature.

Has anyhthing fluctuated in those parameters you been monitoring. ALK specifically. How old is tank......Lots more info needed if you want help. BUT PLEASE dont take it in stride as the above mentioned quote.

Check your top off container if you have one. Make sure nothing bad is in there.

A bottle of Brightwell phosphate E that was closed and unused has been found opened and half empty. No one is accepting responsibility. With spring break my house has been full of kids from 6 years old to 17 while I have been at work. In the mean time a water change on Saturday and a spring cleaning.

That's the same type of thing I found in my ato container. Phosguard. Crazy.... Water changes will get you back on track. Might as well do big water changes to help fix the problem faster since the corals are already hurting.

Phosphate E is lanthanum chloride. Running 10 micron socks, large water changes, and bunch of carbon will help.

Your fish will breath hard too with all the particulate in the water column. Check the fish

changed 50 gallons on Saturday. the 3 frags i got at the swap are doing okay. the bleaching has stopped.
