I picked up a used 32g biocube over the weekend he had it running for 7-8 months he left 40lb of live sand in the tank and about a inch of water and 4 snails. I added dry rock and filled the tank three days ago and added a sm bottle of turbostart 900 do you think my tank will go through a rough cycle. It’s day three and no sign of algae or anything

With the added new rock a cycle is imminent, especially with switching owners and such. I cant say how bad, but turbostart is as good as it gets for the bacterial area. You will most likely have diatoms and then GHA as the excess silicates get used up and phos levels out. Are you using RODI water or tap water?

Tested for ammonia? I guess the sand got a bit messed up? Even if it was transported carefully, just the reduction in water pressure can mix stuff.

I got premixed from my lfs and sand bed did ger mixed around some and the snails that was left in there are the under the sand ones I forget there names
