I am hoping I'm on the right track. A couple days ago I had algae starting to pop up on my base rock. Hopefully this is a good sign. Can someone help me identify it and what I should do. When starting the tank I only added 125lb of live sand and 100 lbs of base rock. After a couple weeks I added about 15lbs of live rock and a few more lbs of base. The tank has been set up since March 20th.
My parameters are as follows:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 3
Nitrite - 0
Temp - 76.7 f
Salinity - 1.024 ( a little low I just dumped my protein skimmer and added fresh water)
I am using RO/DI for top offs. LFS came out and filled the tank originally.
