Tank cycled in three days?

I cycled my tank by dosing pure ammonia to 3.0 and keeping that until it prosessed in 24 hrs I used bio speria it cycled in 10 days. Strong cycle I added 5 fish at a time 75 gal dt
Yeah, I might add pure ammonia on top of the kit. It can't hurt anything right?

(Also, I'll be making a build thread either tonight or tomorrow, in case anybody is interested)

Well I was going to get the bio Spira, but BRS didn't have the 250ml bottle. So I picked up the red see reef mature pro kit. It seems pretty promising so far.
I used bio-spira on 2 tanks, display and QT. Both tanks finished cycling on day 9. Kept having to dose ammonia to around 3 ppm daily until they and nitrates dropped to 0 within 12 hours. What I did was if the bottle said it was rated for 75 gallons I added an extra 30 gallon bottle with it . So 105 gallons to cycle a 57 gallon tank.

If you order bio-spira, order it through drsfoster smith, they ship it with ice packs surrounding the bottles. To keep them cool. I ordered a bunch of bottles and store them in my.fridge just in case. I was skeptical it would work but I read the reviews and they were amazing so I gave it a shot and it worked . My tanks been up for about 6 weeks now and I have 3 fish 3 shrimp snails crabs. If you cannot get the bio spira order the Dr Tim's one. Same thing

Anyone know how much pure ammonia to add? I just dosed a cap full. Last time I checked, my ammonia was zero. Trying to get around 3ppm, have about 26 gallons. Dosed one cap, going to test the water in thirty.

http://www.fishforums.net/aquarium-calculator.htm

Down at the bottom of that page is a ammonia calculator. For your size tank it's around 3ML to get to 3ppm. Cvs or rite aid sell this little baby dropper that measures ML it's like $3. Much easier then capfuls

Should get you there about a tsp

Oh one more thing. This is my opinion so take it or leave it. Ammonia is really bad for fish. Nitrite in marine aquarium is not. Yes nitrite will kill fresh water fish but not saltwater. I put two clown fish in mine a week after ammonia read zero. My nitrite was 1.0 and the fish never showed signs of stress. They ate well and were very active with good color. They are the same today just bigger now. [emoji6]
Ime ammonia is toxic at any level but with nitrite at zero, ammonia has to be a little high to have negative effect. High as in like 1ppm. But if nitrite is also present, ammonia even at .25 can be lethal.

So guys, I'm still using the Red Sea reef kit. It has me dosing no3po4x, will I need to continue dosing this as long as my tank is running? Or just until my nitrates and phosphate levels are stable, or spike again? Really would rather not start out, dosing a whole lot to my tank if it's not necessary.

I'm also running bio pellets, in a mesh bag. Are there any drawbacks from this? I plan on keeping all LPS, and I've read to little nutrients in the water, and the corals won't thrive.
