So i did a reboot on my 80G rimless a couple weeks ago adding two bottles of beneficial bacteria (160g) worth to help cycle the tank and added shrimp to help kick it off as well. Now the tank has been cycling for a couple weeks and the ammonia is barely going down went from 1-.25, nitrite and nitrate having not moved yet. Would running my skimmer (which is pulling a lot of junk out) and my gfo reactor do anything to reverse the cycling affect? Also i know this is a noob question but with the ammonia not really moving down can i add corals or fish to help cycle quicker?

Don't add anything in till the tank is cycled. Ammonia will kill all your corals . Be patient and let it cycle. A good sign is when some coralline algae begins to show. Some people even wait 6 months or longer before adding sps.
