So after struggling to save my fish from ick, velvet and potentially more, fish are dying.

First mistake was treat my dt with herbal treatments which I believe made everything worse. I finally bought a qt too late. By the time I moved fish, they were not eating.

I have 5 fish and an eel in the dt that are all eating and behaving normally. I have 4 pending death in Qt. Dog face, cow fish, clown trigger, and cat fish......none are eating.

I feel like I should put the trigger and cow fish down? The other two look bad, swim normally.

I think my path forward is what I should have done from the start...treat new fish in one qt, then acclimate in a second qt, then dt.

I continue to watch the survivors, but I don't want to qt until the sick are gone and then bring that qt up clean.

Now let's take a moment of silence for those we have lost

Gut wrenching and am so sorry. I would run your tank fallow for 78 days to eradicate ick/velvet and qt everything that will go into your display. Craigslist a cheap big tank to house all your fish in a qt and go from there.
