Hello,

Need input fellow Reefers. Between these too which one would you buy- quality, longevity and ease of use of chambers? Thanks!

I was between the two myself around Jan. Picked the nuvo 40. I love my nuvo 40. Great dimensions. Beautiful glass and design.

Cool, thanks! I Can't seem to find a stand for Nuvo 40. What stand do you have?

I have the Nuvo 40. I've had several aio tanks and this one is the nicest looking.
The chambers seem large enough to fit most of the equipment I've tried. The front seams are crisp and look perfect. The back seams are misaligned but covered with wrap that conceals the chambers. The staphire glass is nice. I built the stand to match some other furniture.

Thanks. How long you have this set-up?

Nuvo 40, JBJ has had some quality issues with corners cracking. I have a 20 as a frag tank and love it. High quality and low lead glass.

That's what I've read about JBJ45. How's the Nuvo chamber, does it have a good room? Thanks!

Mine has plenty for a Tunze 9001 and I use the filter sock in one side and the chambered in the other. That way I can add filter media for N03 and P04.

I had a Tunze 9004 in the back. The problem was it had to go in the chamber with the overflow.

Would a different skimmer will work?
How many slots does it have? I have seen the jbj 45 and have 3 slots.

Nuvo 40 all the way! I have a Fusion 10G (which is the little brother of the Fusion 10G) and the glass clarity is amazing. I also have a nanocube 28g right next to it, and there's no comparison! The Nuvo glass is absolutely better than whatever JbJ uses (I'm assuming the 28G Nanocube and JbJ 45G use the same kind of glass).

How about the Nuvo stand?
I am thinking DYI stand.

Got a Nuvo 40 =). Does the middle chamber where the pump is located is filled with water too or remain empty? Thanks!

I have a aquac remora hob slimmer for my nuvo. I would not recommend it. Their are four 5 technically chambers for the nuvo. Starting from left to right I have mine set like this. Slot one untanked media basic with ff and macroalgae fuge. Chamber two. Airstone. Third chamber is both of my return pumps. Use the Im return and a rio 600. Also gave my float valve for ato in this chamber. Fourth chamber is skimmer. Fifth chamber is intanked media basket ff. Phosguard. CRbon Pades

I have the Nuvo 40. I bought it used in September and it has been the best tank I've ever had. No issues whatsoever. I use all the chambers in the back, 1 for heater and marinepure cermedia, the second for chaeto with led light on back. Middle is obviously where the return is at then next I have ghost skimmer and lastly chemipure blue and sponges.
