Tank dosing for Ca and Mg questions!

For magnesium can I ONLY dose magnesium chloride or do I need to have the mix of sulfate too? And how can I raise my calcium with home remedies, I don’t want to buy several pounds of calc crystals or something like I did with my magnesium chloride. Was it a waste considering I ?NEED? To mix it with sulfate which I don’t have or is it ok?

You cannot use calcium sulfate for dosing. It is not soluble enough to make stock solutions.

Mag sulfate is typically cheap as USP Epsom salt at a drug store. No reason to not use it.
