How do you cut 45 degree angles on the aluminum ends then or do they come that way at Home Depot

You'll probably have to go to a dedicated metal supply company to get angles cut in aluminum stock. You can cut it yourself with a circular saw with an aluminum blade (non-ferrous) and a speed square or hacksaw.
