Tank Going Downhill...

The course size of your sand looks to be good for avoiding anaerobic zones, so it was just an input to double check if your sand is black in any areas.

Best suggestion is water changes and stay on them. Also cut the nopox to half the dose and see if that helps. If that's the change I agree it doesn't harm the systems but be sure and cut the dose in half for a week and see if things get better. You should always start carbon dosing slow to allow the benifical bacteria to keep up with the dose amount. Finally the nopox instructions should really more of a reference. Most of use find that dose half or less of instructed works best for us.

Rinsing food is a decision you can make. I choose not to because I feel the people that engineer these higher quality foods know better of what my corals need that I from a food perspective.

The balance of a hungry tank, feeding, and waste is a fine line and why I say the nopox should be used for what give best result and it's better to have the same issue then introduce a new one by dosing to heavy hence the start slow.
