Been having issues with stony corals dying on me and I'm getting slime algae blooms... So I ordered a Hanna pro reef colorimeter checker kit and these are the numbers it gave me...
Salinity 1.025
Phosphate on phosphate ulr checker 0.90
Calcium 433
Alkalinity 14.8
Temp 78.2

I have been using red sea coral pro salt. Would like to start having success with sps and lps corals... Please help... lol

Going to convert this into a thread for you!

If those numbers are correct, the your ALK is way to high, and P04 is on the high end as well.
What type of filtration, and nutrient export are you utilizing?
Also what lights, and intensity do you have them set too?
Are you dosing 2 part to your tank, or just doing weekly water changes?
Post some pics up of your tank and filtration so us reef heads can give you a hand.

I agree with @Jose Esteves. What are your nitrates and temp? How do you measure salinity, with a calibrated refractometer or a hydrometer?

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
