Basically long story short. I set up my 29 gallon a little over a month ago now, used quick start as well as media from my old tank and it was cycled in 2 weeks. Added live rock and dry rock, Added hermit crabs and a turbo snail, and let it run for two more weeks. I tested the levels religiously every day and noticed everything to be healthy. Now about a week and a half ago I added a firefish goby since the water is stable. And everything has been going smoothly and Crystal clear. I even did a partial water change yesterday and put some quick start in. I came home last night at midnight and the tank looked great, turned off the lights. Now it's 8 AM and it's cloudy. Any ideas?

I should also add I noticed a diatom bloom starting about 4 days ago. Nothing terrible, just one the dry rock a little bit and some sand nearby.

Parameters:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate 10
Calcium: 450
SG: 1.026

It sounds like the quick start is some kind of bacteria boost to help the nitrogen cycle. I suspect it has just caused a bloom and will clear in a day or so back to how it was, so don't be concerned.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear haha.
