I moved my biocube 29 yesterday and noticed a slow leak this morning, now the leak is getting worse by the hour. I have an Evo 13.5 and think I can put most of my live rock in there but obviously moving the sand will be harder.
Feeling a little overwhelmed and would like some clear headed advice on what to do things I might be missing.
The plan:
- drain biocube and put everything into buckets
- fish bucket will have heater and circulation pump
- Fill Evo with water from previous tank
- move in rocks, corals, then fish (2 clowns, 1 highfin goby, clean up crew)
That part is simple enough I think... But what else do I need to consider in the near future? Will it cause the tank to cycle to remove the sand from the system?
Thanks for the help.
