In the process of a 250dd build. Rock work is done, first 60 gallons of salt water are in. As I was filling I noticed the water line wasn't quite as level as I was hoping it would be (Yes, I checked numerous times throughout building the stand and placing the tank). I think it's more my floor, as I live in a old house, and being such a large / heavy tank. I do have metal floor supports under the tank - three to be exact.
I measured and the water is 1/8" higher in the front left corner (both in front to back and right to left). How much stress will that cause on the tank? Is it something I need to try and shim or is it minimal enough to not cause issues?
My stand is made of 2x6's and 1/2" plywood top. If I need to shim it can I just lift the corner to shim without worry of flexing the tank and cracking??
Let's hear some advice!! Halp
