Tank Lid Mesh Black or White

What color mesh is better? Saw a video on YouTube and someone said black mesh is better since it doesn’t reflect light.

I would think it would block the light. I think what you are calling white is what is really "clear" (which I would think would be more translucent).

Black 100%! That’s what we have on our tank. Love it.

Yes, clear! It’ll block light but not reflect, maybe it’s the same?

Black will absorb light (block it) clear will refract it at a much reduced par level. For the amount of mesh across the surface it'll be very minor however
