Tank Lid Netting

Has anyone used black netting (instead of clear) in their tank lids?
The reason I ask is the clear netting creates a lot of glare when looking at my tank. And I thought black netting might help with the viewing experience.

I think it's clear to maximize the amount of light penetration and minimize heat.

Yes black doesn’t give off as much of a glare.. it doesn’t block any more light than the clear either..

Switched from clear/white to black just for that reason. Haven't noticed a difference.

That’s what I was wondering. Thank you.
I run my lights at only 60% as it is, so I could always turn it up a little anyway.
Maybe I’ll try it out.
