Hey guys,

I'm currently dealing with an immense amount of guilt after finding my Mandarin dried up on the floor. He did come back to life when I put him back into the tank... but not for long.

I'm hoping some of you can make a recommendation on where to find a good lid. I have a Red Sea 350, and I've heard the Red Sea DIY lids are awful.

I'm looking for something minimalist as I went rimless for a reason... but I want to keep the fish safe at the same time.

Check out DD Jump Guards. Look pretty sweet. I've had the custom clearview AA lids, and an octo lid. Ready to try the DD jump guard lids. Look slicker and cheaper. A bit harder to customize though.

There's not a lot of different ways to build a lid over a rimless tank. You can go polycarb with octolids, artfully acrylic (or similar), or you can go aluminum like DD jump and red sea. You can go DIY from home depot with rim clips. You can choose between white or black netting. That's about it, unless you want to go glass. I think there's a difference between DD and Red Sea, but I haven't owned either yet, so I'll leave that for others to comment.
