I have been using egg crate as lids. Looking for other ideas. I'm not looking to build a canopy for it. Thinking screens or etc... Pics to please.

Depends on what you want to spend and how big your tank is. I have an innovative marine diy mesh lid on my nano, looks great and easy to cut and assemble. I had a red sea diy but had cut out notches to go around radion rms arms. Made stretching the screen an absolute pain. Ended up ordering a custom mesh top from reefin ain’t eazy, it is absolutely phenomenal! It is 2 pieces of clear acrylic so it is easy to remove and clean and has a removable feeding port cover.

Lots of people use cheap window screen frame kits from Lowes / Home Depot with clear mesh (instead of screen in kit) that you can buy from Amazon, BRS, etc.

Couldn't find a good pic but this gives an idea -- I have an acrylic strip behind the mesh frame that I cut to go around my 2 HOBs (((and I've seen people do the same for back equipment with egg crate as opposed to acrylic))):

In the process of making my own. Got a sheet of acrylic from Lowe’s. Started tracing and cutting then sanding
