Tank low on mag?

Sup guys I just tested my mag with selfert test it was 0.17 on Syringe that’s about 1240 mag? my apex Trident is reporting 1288 mag…what u guys think low mag? Maybe this why my torch is ticked off?

I would just try to keep it where your magnesium typically should be. A good rule of thumb is to try to maintain the natural parameters of your salt. Personally I keep my magnesium at 1350-1400.

yes low mag will do that . 1400 . alot of people keep it at 1500 with no issues well coralline will grow faster

Seawater is around 1280 so I wouldn't think so
