Tank mat

Bought a used 120g eurobraced tank that was setup previously without a mat. It supposedly was up for 3 yrs before I bought it. Do I need to get a mat or would I be ok continuing without one?

Tank manufacturers usually have requirements for mat use or not for each specific tank, a lot of time warranty is based on this.. I would check with them

Looks to be a SCA made tank. I've seen several builds using a mat and Steve from SCA suggested a yoga mat would work just fine. I will go ahead and use one.

What is important is that the bottom of the tank is supported evenly (no high spots) to avoid uneven pressure across the length of the tank.
