Can someone tell me what type of glass is used on the back panel and bottom of a rimless aquarium? I want to have a tank built and was trying to price material and wasn't sure if I should do the bottom and back out of starphire also.

You should use Starphire only on the viewable sides, for the back and bottom, using regular glass will lower material costs.

That's something you should ask your builder I think they will know what thickness based on design and dimensions.
I would consider they will use the same thickness all around but that's something for them to decide.
