So I’ve had my 75 gallon up and running for about 3 months now and it has been housing my two little clowns for about 1.5 months.
I kept the lights off for the first 2 months or so then had an algae bloom after a week on. Went back to darkness and the algae still took a long time to clear, but now it’s just a few spots on the glass here and there. Even the area of my overflow that is exposed to direct sunlight cleared up, which was pretty bad.
I’d like to add some stocking and just looking for advice/opinions. My main concern is they all play nice and don’t hurt each other. I’m wanting to add a fire shrimp and a yellow tang (do tang police go after yellow tangs too, or just hippos?)
I don’t plan on adding much more livestock than that. I might grab some GSP when I go to the LFS though to get my feet wet with coral.
