I want to migrate the coral frags and clowns living in a 20 long into a 30 I have with the same footprint . Do I need to establish the 30 first, waiting for it to cycle or can I swap in the water, fish, live rock, inverts, aragonite, media, gear, and coral all in a day?

I'm pressed for space and would prefer the safest way to do it, and quickly if possible.

Thank you.

You can use most everything from your current tank. I've done it 3 times now no issues, as have others. Moving the sand bed around could cause an ammonia spike, I just used about half of my old sand and the other half was new. Idk if that was neccessary or not, but I haven't had a single issue yet doing it that way
