Tank Move

I will be moving from one 140 gallon tank to another within my house. The end result will be 2 140 gallon tanks that share a common sump and refugium however, initially I can operate both tanks separately. Initially, I would like to move all of the contents of the current tank to the new one so I can service the old tank.

I would appreciate any and all recommendations on the sequence of the move. Here are my concerns:
1. the current tank has an infestation of flatworm
2. the current tank has a maxima claim as a centre piece.
3. the current tank has gobi's and pistol shrimp
4 the current tank has a mandarin

I can have as many as 3 temporary tanks in place during the move.

It's a bit of a puzzle ....

Wow... very valid concerns.

Here are a bunch of post about getting ride of flatworms. I would get rid of the flatworm before the more.
I would suggest not transfer the sand, I would start with a new sub straight
I would suggest having a tank setup for the fish, inverts to be in and do the transfer and wait out the ammonia spike then put the fish in.
