I just love when everything looks "fine" parameter wise and your tank decides to push in the stick and start diving toward the ground. If it keeps up at this rate I will have a fish only with live rock in another week... Fun times.

What is your worst story with unexplained decline in overall coral health?

P.S. this can be moved if mods want. I was torn between here and general reef. But as it does not add much to help others figured I'd toss it here.

Tank crash on my 100gal , lost tons of Z's and P's, some never I'd or seen around. Lost softball sized colonies, LE's etc.

37 gal took a nose dive messing w/ buffered Vita C ( never again ), lost 98% of all my corals in the tank. It messed with Alk/pH.

Foiled once again :D

This is my camo battle ground.

Thanks Stun! I was confused like the Scooby Doo crew when they can't remove a mask.

My first attempt at saltwater was a disaster. I was so proud of that tank. Had all my neighbors come by and see it. The kids loved it. Until my hang on the back skimmer got clogged with bio-balls and flooded the apartment. Lost 80% water volume. Did an emergency water change and everything perished. Kept me out of the hobby for about 6 years.

Kraylen,
I thought you headed on a road trip and off line for a bit!!!!!!!!! Do you wear a Aluminum hat because of the alian radio waves?????
Just ask a tank crasher what the params are? They are fine, that is how you know if someone is disfunctional, ask them how they feel, "I am FINE", not happy, glad, sad but fine!!! And where is your tank log book that you log test, dosing, WC's and that water test, ect? Da, what is a log book!!!!!!!!

Well I think MAYBE things are stabilizing, not sure though. We will see tomorrow.

Have the water mixed and heating. Will open up the feed to it in the morning if it is hot enough.
