Hi All,
I was wondering if it ok to set up the tank even if the tank is NOT 100% leveled?

i am setting up an Marine X 90.3.. from side to side its perfectly leveled.. :)

BUT front to back its a bit off. i have attached pic.. would it be ok to set up the tank like this?
i tried to level it using the leveling feet, but still managed to be off..

what do i think?

here is the pic from side to side with 3 foot level

NO good!

Just kidding, that looks fine.

I'm curious if there is a rule of thumb for when a #glass tank is with in a proper range of level. For example, the tank shouldn't vary more than 1/8" over 6 feet (this is just an example, not a specification to follow). Also are there any other leveling aspects to pay attention to in addition to side to side and front to back (i.e., does finding measurements or level from corner to corner matter?).

Mine was level end to end 6' and front to back when I set it up, now it's settled out and it's like the bubble above going the 6' length. Not leaking or anything. I just keep the water up to where the rim hides the slight difference.

@kamla I would agree with the replies you have received so far on this thread. using an aquarium pad you should be fine.
