Hey so I started my reef tank 4 days ago I put a clownfish and some fritz turbo start 900 and it’s seems like maybe all the nitrifying bacteria was dead I don’t know I’m check pr every day and I see no changes I only see that my ammonia is at 0.0010 I ordered another bottle just in case because the one I put in the tank wasn’t refrigerated and sat out for about 9 days the clown is doing just fine I just got him to eat

The tank IS cycling. You don’t need more bottles, you need more time. Keep an eye on ammonia levels to ensure they don’t get too high, skip the nitrite BS as it’s useless, and watch for nitrates to show up. Once you start seeing nitrates, the bacteria you’re culturing have shown up. Stopping them appearing is almost impossible so just wait and watch. The start of any tank involves a lot of phases of biological boom and bust cycles. The key is to let them play out but ensure they don’t make the tank harmful to the other organisms.
