Tank Positioning

I’m on a second story and am going to set up a 40 gallon tank, should it be okay parallel with the floor joists? It’s pretty close to a load bearing wall and an exterior wall. I know you should typically run the tank perpendicular with floor joists for weight distribution but would a tank this size be okay running with the joists?

As long as the home is not "circa 1930" you should be ok. I ran a 60g tall and it was fine.
