Nice tank. That's a cool picture showing the difference between 10,000K and 14,000K. It's a bigger difference than I would have thought. How do you like it now?

CJ

Man ole man Marcus..... You need to get rid of about 400lbs of rock you have such a sick tank at 10ft long I would just have like 4 mountains of rock in there.... Prolly why you have so muny problems with no3 man it would be super easy for stuff to get caught in all that rock work... Not trying to bag on ya but I personally hate the fruit stand look and you have such a large tank it would be sick with a few piles of corals and lots of open space.... Way better flow also....;)

Wow that's nice... Never saw the difference in bulb k value side by side before. Thanks.

Thanks guys I might have a little to much rock when I was building it and over the years I kept trying to get more placement spots for my coral hence the gradual addition of rock. When I move in a year or 2 I will end up chaging some stuff. Still in the process of chopping out corals.

The color now is all 10k xms no blue accent wife had to darken the images to give it more of a blue look. She said it was to bright. Im looking for a led or vho fixture to add the blue
blue bulbs were coralvue

I got the radiums they dont seem real bright and they are ***** blue campared to the 10ks kinda real shock for me, and the pics are washed out blue

Ho ho holy crapola! Now THAT is a packed tank of awesomeness! How many different corals do you have in there, it must be a phone book worth of stuff!

What is that bright yellow thing in your last pic (no, not the tang)? Is it a tube anemone?

CJ

I have around 200 sps an 30 lps

The giant yellow coral is a 14 inch scroll coral. I had it in my 95 that I got from another reefer. Its growing faster since I left it in one spot I have to chop it back again or get rid of half

Thanks Nick Yep 10ft havehad 8 ft tanks for the last 25 years had to go alittle bigger. I had a friend build the stand and we ordered the doors traded him all my rare cichlids
Alot of the stuff in there I got from you.
Getting to the point like you did and go blue dont get me wrong love the growth but alot of my stuff could be brighter colored
