Tank raised

Anyone who sells ORA raised fish & coral. Live Aquaria has an ORA section.

Are you looking for tank raised or captive bred? There is definitely a distinction between the two.

Tank raised = a tiny/small fish that was caught a while ago, and raised to a larger/sellable size in a captive system
Tank bred = a fish that was raised from a spawn of its parents, completely in a captive system (both the spawn and rearing of the larvae)

Before automatically defaulting to online ordering (especially in winter when it's harder on livestock due to cold temps and weather-related shipping delays), it may very well be worthwhile to check with your LFS. Fish from some outfits like Sustainable Aquatics are more readily available through LFSs than online ... compared to Biota and ORA which seem to have a larger online presence than SA.

For example, I never even realized that some species of anthias are captive raised until one of my LFSs mentioned they had just gotten some dispars in from Sustainable.

You can also ask your LFS if they are able to order from ORA or Biota. Just as an example.

Others have provided a few places like Pacific East and LA/DD - others too. Point is online businesses can order from ORA and Biota whereas we the hobbyist can't. Some aquaculture farms - Pacific East for example - only resell captive fish.

They are out there and the list of what we can purchase is growing which is a good thing. In some cases the prices are not too bad.
