About 5 months ago I tore down a tank and put all my live rock and fish into a Brute stock tank. My upgrade will be ready for water in the next week or 2 and it has me thinking about how I can ensure a smooth transition to hopefully be able to get my coral in the new tank soon with no issue.

I'm thinking about adding some type of beneficial bacteria and some pods to boost the population. Has anyone been through this and what did you use for the best results?

if you have kept you rock and fish together, it should have all the bio bacteria it needs ready to go straight into your new tank, no messing around.
Pods are always good to chuck in there, what the fish don't eat will find their way into the tock.

There always seems to be some level of fluctuation when moving things and especially in a brand new system.

The fluctuation is due to some die off on the rock due to air exposure, temp, or parameter change. It should be very minimal if you don't have to transport it across town. You can dump a bottle of biospira in the tanks right after transfer if it makes you feel better and call it a day. Just match your salinity, ph and temp 100% to the brutes.
