Tank reborn+can use some advice

Hey guys and gals, i’ve had this fowlr 110g high for a year and a half+ now and It’s been quite an experience, many beautiful days with some bad ones.(ich or velvet wipeout and a hose leak come to mind) So i’ve learned a lot with this tank. So today I saw a gracious member giving away a decent amount of live rock in the forums here. I jumped on it as I think my tank needed more rock for the fish to enjoy. Big thanks to @Teddy00024. Anyway, here is the before and after pics. I’m hoping for some feedback on the rock placement, is it a bit too much? Cluttered? Ect.

Also, some of the rocks included some zoas and another coral I don’t recognize. Maybe someone can help me out. The one with the green middle. Is it a type of zoa? So now that I have corals in my tank...I’m obligated to do my best for them. My water quality is good and so is my husbandry but I think my light most likely is inefficient. I have https://reefs.com/2015/11/05/fluval-marine-reef-led-2-0-review/...and I’m currently looking at better lights, something that won’t break the bank but will grow these corals. I’m not looking to expand into any other corals in the near future as I prefer to keep a relatively inexpensive tank. Anyway, thanks for reading.

Wow! The tank looks well established! Your rock work (aquascape) all depends in the types of corals you plan to keep. If you decided you wanted to grow SPS later on you'll want to raise your rocks a little higher in the tank. Some other important factor to consider; you want rock structures that allow for good flow and movement of water... dead spaces can build up detritus/dead food/waste and lead to poor water quality for your live stock. There are lots of opinions in this space I would recommend before moving anything on what type of tank you're going for... fish only, fish w/some coral, corals and lots of them and if so what type SPS, LPS or mixed.

The coral you have that looks like vines growing could be clove corals, if it is they'll grow quick and take over your rock space. I have some in my QT it and the gsp are constantly fighting for space. I've isolated both on their own rock pieces to help with that. They are moderate or low light, flow is also moderate to low they don't like being blasted.

For lighting are you going for blue light or more day light? You have a couple of options to stay relatively cheap. It really comes down to what your looking for, there are ton of differing opinions on lights. For our tank I've gotten almost all of our lights used except for our orphek LED light bar. I use a mixture or Sunburst Nanotech T5 daylights, Two Radion XR30 Gen1's, one orphek OR3 blue tone LED bar. Total cost for all the lighting $400 which is a bargain considering what you would pay new. For what you are growing in your tank you don't need to go as heavy as I did...

Try looking for something used here on R2R. I've seen tons of great deals come through the sale forum just make sure that the person selling has pictures and a high thread and reaction score.
