OK. I am going to have fun with this. I have a two car garage and it is full. I cant even walk into it. So i got so hooked with this over the past 3 months that I decided to build a tank room. I will not need it now but it will be fun to build and a great reason to finally clean out this garage. To my defense. Only about 5% of the build up is mine. It is also 20 plus years of my mothers hobby and antiques that she was going to fix up and resale but that never worked. That takes up about 80% of the build up. the rest is of my three sisters. When ever they moved into a new house, the garage would turn into a storage for them. With nothing ever getting picked backed up. So here we go. I do have a full time job, so i limiting myself to at least an hour a day and a lot of time on my weekends. I am sorry this built will take some time. I just thought it would be cool to document it as i go. So here is the mess i am dealing with.

Here is the first update on this. So after about 8 hours over the past few days, $215 a month for storage. This is how it is looking so far. i will be updating this thread every Monday cause I do have the weekends off. So here are the pictures for my first update. As you can see. There is a ton more work left to do.

Ok. so here is my weekly update. A few things that happened top me this past week. I met a guy who was getting out of the hobby and wanted to sell all of his stuff. So i got a good deal on everything. With that being said, I have not even reached 25% of being completed with the tank room. I took a vacation day Friday and worked on the room all weekend. I also found some cool older stuff in there as well. Here is a brand new cooler from the 60's that was never used.

The next cool find was from Miller Beer. about 30 years ago there was a huge earthquake and the water was shut down here. Miller drove around handing out cases of water that was bottled in the bottles.

Ok. i got a lot done and was able to create over four boxes of items that i do need and dropped them off at Goodwill. A win for both of us. Here is the mess and how the room is looking now. There is still a ton more work to be done so i am getting more excited after every weekend. Thanks guys for looking.
