Tank scratches

I have 180 gallon glass reef tank about 8 years old. The tank is severely scratched on the inside from cleaning. Does anyone have experience resurfacing or polishing the glass successfully?

I just noticed this long scratch on the aquarium I am setting up. It's on the side panel near the top so my gyre may hide it. So, I was wondering if anyone has had some experience removing scratches in glass?

It would be easier to just buy a new tank
