I have an Aqueon 75G tank that is only one year old and the sealant on the bottom is starting to peel back. Short of draining the tank, stripping and reapplying the sealant, is there a way to slow down the peeling process or beef it up with water/corals in the tank? I am very careful not to scrape this area with my cleaning tools. I only need to keep it going for another 3 months or so. At that time, I plan on moving the tank to another room and then I will strip and reseal.

Any ideas on how to keep it from peeling anymore or is there a sealant that I can apply while there is water and corals in the tank? There are no fish in the tank.

Not much help on the fix. I just looked at aqueon tank warranty. Did you buy the tank new and is it frameless? If so I might be under warranty. It might be worth calling and asking.

I know the website was limited lifetime on the frameless 56 gal and bigger. Good luck!!

If you mean the thin edges of the inside bead, then no big deal.
