Well I bought a used 60 gallon cube the other day. Seams looked fine when purchased, but when I fill it up the seams accumulate bubbles. This tells me the seams are under unusual stress, and should be of concern. I emptied about 20 gallons out and the bubbles mostly went away. I am leaning toward purchasing a new tank, and looking for recommendations on somewhere online to order from.
I attached some pictures, let me know what you guys think.

Clean with bleach, rinse, rinse, dry. Then smear a thin coat of pure silicone (no additives) over the existing caulking (scrape out any loose or poor looking caulking). Worth a try. Used to do this all the time when I was doing aquarium maintenance for offices, etc. Worked pretty well most of the time.

appreciate the advice. Will give it a shot. Also forgot to mention it is a rimless tank, so I would assume not having a top brace would lead to additional stress on the joints over time.

The only way to fix those seams is to completely disassemble the tank, clean to a state of virgin glass, and reassemble. I have built and rebuilt a few tanks and I can tell you it is a lot of work and like everything there is a learning curve. You seams are not structurally sound.

So I went out and bought a brand new 60 cube. Swapped the tank with the new one, made sure it was level and filled her up.....and this is what I have....again. Is there something I am missing, both are deep blue tanks... I sent them an email as there is no phone number in their contacts... Do I really need to empty it out and do this again? Seams looked just fine before filling....
