Ok I have removed the canister entirely. I put a bag of carbon in the return section of the sump. So now it’s :
1. Sock, skimmer
2. Algae scrubber, ceramic little tubes and a little basket of algae and copapods. Heater
3. Return pump with bag of carbon resting on top.
