Hi

So i previously posted that i purchased all the kit and assembled. I will put again below but now would like some advise on cycling and next stages

Fluval Sea Evo
Upgraded Pump
Heater (Set to 25C)
InTank Media Baskets (Filter Floss, Carbon, Biohome Ultimate)
Added Caribsea Live Sand
Added Caribsea Life Rock
Added Salt Water Premixed by my local shop
All Test Kits as recommended by my shop

Powered up everything up, water was a little cloudy but not as much as i expected. This was about 3 hours ago.

What is next recommended? Leave the lights off for a few days, let the water filter round. Start testing on day 4 (Monday) and see what levels im at. At what levels can i safely start adding fish/CCU?

Will my water go crystal clear? what should i be looking out for/

thanks pics to follow!

Get some biospera or Dr. Tims one and only live bacteria. As soon as you get it follow the directions and put a couple fish in. Keep an eye on it for 30. 40 days do your weekly or biweekly water changes . Good luck. I have a 125 I added both Dr. Tims and biospera and put 13 fish in. One was sick and got caught by my wavemaker . And another one stopped eating 8 days in and died on day 10. The other 11 have been in my tank for a year now. I did add 2 more because 13 is my lucky number.

Yes Brightwell has a good process...I used it in my new 300 build in Jan 22..
Keep tank lights OFF....
1. Brightwell Quickcycle and Brightwell Micobacter start XLM..
then
2. Brightwell Microbacter Clean...along with Brightwell Reef Bio Fuel...helps prevent ugly stage...
3. Then swirct to Microbacter 7 for maintenance....
Do not use carbon,GFO,PH4 remover, filter resins until tank has cycled and is 330 days old...
Their website explains it all...
Have a great weekend..
