Tank size for a single Dottyback?

My Splendid Dottyback grew an attitude and had to be plucked and transferred to my sump. The fish has never seemed so content. I calculated that she is sitting in about 3.5 gallons. Places to duck and hide, lots to eat, no one to mess with her room. She loves that attention and she is eye to eye with my dog whom she loves. She gets petted and handfed now. I don't have room for another tank right now but will be buying a much larger house in the next 2 months.

My question is, What do you consider a good size standalone tank for a Splendid Dottyback? I am considering the theme of deep water shelf. Low lights-NPS.

Minimum 10gallon with sufficient hiding and do note these guys are known jumpers

I understand what the fish needs, [this came across weird] As for Biotope I think I have a grasp of what the fish needs. I have had him in my tank for pushing 18 months. I was thinking something around the 15-20 gallon. [glad that would fit into the size you suggested] I have a couple interesting ideas for rockwork. They really need a secluded cave and a over hang to be comfortable. Thanks for the input.
