Tank Size?

I just bought an Oceanic bowfront tank used. The dimensions are 48" long, 27" high and 12" wide on the ends with 18" wide in the middle. Does anyone know how many gallons this is?

L x W x H (in inches) divided by 231 gives you the gallons. In the case of a bow front, you can average the ends and the depth of the bow to get awfully close. So 15" in this case.

So in this example, 48 x 27 x 15 = 19,440 / 231 = 85.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for future reference.
