Tank spots... Any idea why or what?

Bought this 200 gallon tank & on inside spots where “looks like” coraline residue or??? Tried scrape off with water & vinegar but no dice! Any thoughts? Thanks!

As someone mentioned on another thread, try spritzing some vinegar on a paper towel and "sticking" the wet paper towel over the spot. When the towel dries, spritz it again with vinegar.
Hopefully, it should wipe right off after a treatment or two.

You can try soaking a gauze pads with vinegar and taping the pad over the spots. That should help to keep the vinegar localized .

I’d fill the tank with water and vinegar and let it sit a couple days, maybe throw a pump in to help circulate. Should come right off after that.

Appreciate the thoughts! So everyone thinking it is Coraline residue? What’s weird is it’s on the front of the tank [emoji848]
