I know this has been asked many times...yet I hope you guys and gals don't mind one more time. :)

I have some areas where there is a 1/32" gap...do I really need to address this?

Thanks so much for your understanding.

What type of tank, rimless or with the plastic? If rimless is this with the pad?

Sorry, I should have included that info. It's a Marineland 75 with corner overflow. So, yes a plastic frame top and bottom.

Thanks

Some of the Marineland and Aqueon tanks I have seen always have a small gap. The trim is not glued all the way to the glass causing this. Once filled it seems they always lose the gap and do fine.

Thanks for the info!
Just be sure to watch the gap as you are filling the tank. It should go away very quickly with not too much water. if it is still there after 1/4 to half full. You may want to inspect it a little further. I have had to pull trim off before as they globbed a huge amount of silicone in one spot. It created a nice little pressure point I was not to keen on having.
