Alright so I built a custom stand for a sump of my 180 gallon and the sump does not have a brace and is flat on the bottom, they said that they will provide some pink foam to absorb the impurities in the stand, if I add the foam to the stand without plywood on the stand, will I be fine?

So I'm going to have to add plywood and foam?

I have my sump (flat bottom) sitting on plywood with Flex-seal painted on the wood bottom & sides that will keep in the water if it ever leaks.
I'll try to find a pic of it.

If a tank or sump is rimless, it needs the entire bottom supported by a piece of wood.

It’s a little hard to see how the RODI filter is screwed on in the picture, but from what I can see you screwed it in from the top. Remember that as soon as you put a tank on that and fill it with water then you will no longer have access to the top of that filter. If you ever need to remove it then it may be difficult or impossible to do so without removing the tank. You may want to rethink the way you have that attached.

Oh yeah thanks definitely going to look into that.
