Hello all,
I'm getting back into reefing after a long absence and I'm getting ready to take the plunge. So the first step is to commit to a tank size and configuration. After consideration, I think about 48" length is the most I can accomodate, so I'm thinking a 100'ish gallon tank 48 X 24 X 24 or so. I've looked around and googled for sources and I'm not seeing a variety of options, so I thought I'd ask here for ideas.
The options that I've found include a Starfire center overflow reef ready on ebay (new) for 795.00 (24 X 24 X 20) and a Deep Blue 48 X 24 X 24 (dual corner overflow pre drilled) for 830.00 from fishtanks direct.com. I could wait for the Petco dollar a gallon sale but not sure if they include predrilled tanks in that offer. I guess the savings would allow me to buy a glass drill and aftermarket overflow though ....just looking for input from more experienced reefers.
Thanks in advance!
George
