Hi all looking for suggestions for my next tank. Currently have a 60 cube and a 20 nuvo. Love the nuvo and simplicity with the aio. I like the cube but actually don't like the footprint and the depth. The top half of the tank is useless basically. Id rather have a 16-18" deep tank and a wider footprint for more room. Wife said okay so looking for suggestions. Would like to stay between 50-60 or so gallons. An aio would be nice but would like an area for cheato to help my pod population. Sump is also fine if there is a good fuge section. Havnt set a budget but around $1000 for tank/stand/sump would be nice. Any good suggestions??

Waterbox Marine 50.3 (AIO)
Waterbox Marine 60.2
Waterbox Frag 55.2

Redsea Max E 170 (AIO)
Redsea Reefer 250

Innovative marine also sells kits similar to the above.

Congrats on the future upgrade! Best wishes to you!

All good suggestions Ive been looking at. The 50.3 aio is right on point. Does anyone with one know is there room for a small fuge in one chamber? The 60.2 is a no its the exact same footprint as my tank but a little shorter, Id like extra sand space. Same with the 55 frag plus its way over budget, Love the 80 frag but its even more over lol.
Redsea 170 is too small and 250 is too deep.
Like the Nuvo 50 Lagoon aio but its on backorder for 2 months

Innovative Marine EXT 50 meets what you’re looking for In terms of dimensions and is on sale for $900, but you’ll need to buy a sump separately.

I just finished setting up me new Reefer 250, love the simplicity of the setup and maintaining the system. The V3 sump could be better laid out in my opinion which is the only issue i have with the tank.

Is there room in the sump for a fuge?

There is a small section in the front corner that you can make a Fuge. Alot of people use the ATO reservoir that comes with the tank with a few modifications (drilling holes in the glass) as a fuge.
