I posted a similar thread towards the end of last year, and now its about to happen.

Current little tank is a fish only with the following

pair of clowns
Sulphur goby
Peacock wrasse
Royal gramma
6x blue legged hermits
2x trocus snails
Sand sifting star fish
Conch
Tuxedo urchin
6x nassarius snails

New tank is ready and plumbed and up to temperature, ive not tested anything other than salinity at this stage, the new tank has only had water on for 3 days. Sand dust has settled, its a DD900 reef pro tank so system volume around 75g, i have 70lbs of dry rock in there and 40lbs caribsea live sand

I plan to transfer (with the livestock) the 30lbs of rock thats been in my little tank for nearly 6 months now slong with about 4/5 of filter media in media bags.

So whats next? Match ph, temp salinity and transfer it all and add some quickstart for good measure or something else....

Thanks

after matching temp and salinity of both tanks, I'd transfer the old LR then livestock. Pls clarify what "filter media in media bags" are.

Exactly how we just did it, media is eheim substrate pro, just been rinsed in old tank water and now in the sump of the new tank
