If that isn't practical than tearing down and completely draining it and cleaning it with bleach would also be another optionhey everyone question. I have marine Velvet in my tank. It’s dry rock that was cured and it’s bare bottom tank I have a couple corals not much thodepends on the tank. This is just my opinion,
I would tear down and restart, unless it’s a big tank. Smaller tank and lighter stocking would be easier to clean and sterilize. Bleach or acid wash and re-cure the rock. Then you can dip and Qt the coral and live stock. Don’t have to worry about using copper, and possibility of any velvet survived small.
