Tank Temp Poll 2020

With Spring here and Summer right around the corner I thought it'd be nice to have a general overview of what temperatures people are running there tanks this year.

I have mine at 81F. I have okay growth and good color with my kessil a160we. I've realized in my 40B when my temperature gets below 74f everything becomes slower. Even the fish aren't as active.

What is your tank temperature at?

There really should be a range. Throughout the year my tank will change that average as well. I prefer to mimic the local conditions where my corals come from. The range is 79.5 to 82.5 depending on the season. Currently, my daily range is ~ 79.5 to 81.0 due to the winter season. The daily swing is more than most reefers seem to prefer but well within the acceptable range found in nature.

Mine hang 78-79 degrees year round. Anything over 80 promotes algae.
