Tank test results

My tank is a little over a year old I got my first set of salifert test kits today. After doing wc yesterday and getting water tested once before at lfs I dose b ionic 2ml every night. Here’s my results before I dose my tank later tho night
Alk 8.6-8.3
Ca 470-480
Mg 1500

will check again in a few days

So the alk and mg isn’t to high. Should I check again tonite or wait a few days and test

its up to you, be consistent in your testing if you’re making changes to chemistry

I used to check those 3 every 4 days to get a picture of usage and set my dosers to correct levels, that will give you a better idea.
Alk is fine but consistency and stability is far more important.
Ca is fine, again consistency and stability is far more important. Mine runs at 460
Mg is a little high, I run mine at 1350 but again consistency and stability is key.
