Hello everyone

As the title says I'm not too sure if my tank is doing really well or really bad. Within the last few days I have noticed that I have an abundance of collinsta snails, spirorbid worms, and just noticed brittle stars in my rock work as well. Are these all good to have together and is there a reason they would all show up around the same time? The tank is a 37 gallon soft reef tank with 3 clown fish, a pistol shrimp, watchman goby, and mixed hermit crabs.

My parameters are as follows:
ph: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrate: 10
Nitrite: 0
dkh: 11

Thank you all in advance

Those are all good things, but those snails will over run your tank at some point.

Depending on how old your tank is, sometimes things like this show up and you notice it all of a sudden

As stated above, it’s totally normal. You will see populations explode and then slowly regulate over time.

The tank is almost a year old right now. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the snails or control their population?

Let them alone for now unless you have way too many but that's a sign of a healthy tank.
They are a good part of your clean up crew.
When you have to many, just give some away
